Sho Taimo

Mabuni anji Shô Taimo was a Ryukyuan scholar-official who served as sôrikan in interactions with Americans and Europeans in the 1850s. He was one of the chief officials to head interactions with Commodore Perry on behalf of the kingdom in 1853.
