Dojo-ji (Shakujii)

Dôjô-ji is a Zen temple in the Shakujii neighborhood of northwestern Tokyo, constructed in 1372 by Toshima Terutoki, adoptive son of Toshima Kagemura, then lord of Shakujii.

The family temple of the Toshima clan, it is the site of the graves of numerous lords and other important members of the clan, including Toshima Yasutsune, lord of Shakujii at the time of its fall to Ôta Dôkan in 1477.
